Step 1 – Reserving Your Plot

When you are ready to proceed with the purchase of your new home, we will prepare a Reservation contract. This will
Include the plot number and purchase price. The reservation fee is £1,000, payable on signing the contract.
The reservation fee will be deducted from the purchase price of your new home.
This will allow us to reserve your chosen home until the exchange date at the agreed price. We will also inform you of the anticipated completion date.

Step 2. Instructing your solicitor

Once the reservation has been completed, you will need to instruct your solicitor to carry out the conveyancing for your new home purchase. During the reservation period, your solicitors will carry out all the appropriate checks and paperwork to facilitate the exchange of contracts. When all parties are happy the exchange will take place and a deposit of 10% of the purchase price will be paid.
You will be then be advised on the completion date of your new home.

Step 3. Completion

We will have provided you with a completion date and will liaise through our solicitors to achieve completion, at this point, funds will need to be in place to complete the purchase.
At Ashton Homes we try to offer the buyer as much choice as possible, we understand the need to make each home have a personal feel that represents the buyer.
However, this is dependent on the build stage and will be discussed one a plot is reserved.
Yes. We offer a 10 year insurance backed warranty on all our new homes, giving the buyer peace of mind. During the first 2 years Ashton homes will deal with any issues you may have quickly and efficiently.
Our warranties are provided by ICW who are an A rated provider.
